FilKONtario Themed Contest
2010 Topic: Time Travel
We're looking for songs that use any interpretation of the topic.

The song MUST have been written between FKO 19 and FKO 20, reflecting the theme.

Entries will be judged by the convention attendees based on criteria in the program book.

Entries on tape or sung by a friend are quite welcome.

The song may NOT already appear on a recording.

Please hand in a copy of your song!
There will be a sign-up sheet for available slots at the registration area on Friday evening. You do not have to be in attendance at the con to enter. Entries on tape or sung by a friend are welcome. If the songwriter is not present, please bring a note giving permission for the entry, or have the songwriter send an e-mail to (conchair AT filkontario.ca).
Penguin Award Contest
Every year we run this fun little contest. You get to write a song using some words that our delightful conchair selects. Here's a hint, one of the words will be "penguin"!

Get your list of words from registration on Friday

Write the song, using either an original or previously loved melody

Perform, or arrange for someone to perform, the song on Sunday.
The finalists will be asked to perform the song for final judging by the con.
